Help for Sciatica
If you suffer from tight hips or specifically Sciatica-this may become a new favorite. This one addresses the hips (and also touches on the low back) through myofascial techniques, strength training, and physical therapy remedies! You will need two tennis balls for this practice along with your usual props. Recorded from a live session!
(Not so) Easy Seated Pose
This practice explores the spaces that tend to hinder us from an easy, Easy Seated Pose (Sukhasana). We look at the low back, the side body, hips, glutes, hamstrings and quads to make sitting on the ground much easier in the body-since that is where we often begin and end our practice. You will notice quite a change in your posture with the techniques used in this class. This class is recorded from a live session. The video size is small for some reason and it's a little dark...but nonetheless-a GREAT one!!
Restorative for the Water Element
This restorative practice focuses on the Water Element, and specifically water as a cleanser and a source of nourishment. This class works on the kidney and bladder meridians, simply put: the front and back lines of the body. This is a very very sweet practice that ends with a visualization meditation that you can drift off to!
Heart, Hips & Soul
Probably the most requested style of class that I teach-here is a restorative and nidra fusion! This sweet practice spends time at the beginning in the heart and in the hips to open the body and release tension. We then slide into a Yoga Nidra practice to check in with our soul/spirit. A great one to do in bed-just allow yourself to drift to sleep!
