Thai Yoga Bodywork is a deeply therapeutic, hands-on practice that combines various techniques, including acupressure, rhythmic compression, assisted yoga stretches, energy line work and mindful breathing. This healing art is performed on a cushioned floor mat with clients fully clothed, creating a comfortable and relaxed environment. Practitioners utilize their hands, elbows, knees and feet to apply rhythmic pressure and guide stretches, ensuring a personalised experience tailored to the individual's needs. Sessions can last 30, 60, or 90 minutes, offering a meditative and restorative journey that meets your body where it is and promotes space, balance, and release. Seek relief from physical tension, emotional stress, or simply reconnect with your body in a nurturing way.
What to Expect During a Session
You will remain fully clothed in comfortable, stretchy clothing while lying on a supportive Thai yoga mat on the floor. The practitioner will move your body through passive stretches, apply gentle pressure along energy (Sen) lines and create space in the joints and fascia. Sessions are quiet, slow-paced and deeply grounding. No prior yoga experience is needed. Many clients describe the experience as feeling both physically invigorated and emotionally centered.
