lEARN mORE ABOUT OUR STYLES
Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through time and passive asanas. Props are heavily used to support the body in various poses. Our intention for this class style is to relax the body, quiet the mind, deepen the breath, and nourish the nervous system. Expect very little movement in this class.
Gentle yoga is often easier, less intense, and non-strenuous. It is a quiet and minimal practice that can be meditative and restorative. Therapeutics are applied to help common health conditions and ailments. The practice will include techniques that can help to prevent or reduce physical pain and limitations. It is also our intention to help aid any emotional or spiritual pain, and any obstructions that the mind and ego can cause. This is a great one to get to know yourself again.
Myofascial release refers to the technique of applying gentle pressure on 'trigger points.' We incorporate techniques into our yoga asanas using blankets, blocks, and tennis balls to release tension in the fascia; specifically we are helping to rehydrate our tissues. This connective tissues is what binds and supports our muscles, organs, bones, joints, nerve fibers and other structures of our body. If you are looking for instant gratification, this is the class for you! It is FASCIAnating work!
Don't be fooled by the use of the word 'chair' in the title of this class. Using the chair can add a new depth of strength, balance, and flexibility to your practice. Within the session, there will be moments of ease and flow, creating a feeling of harmony and a new understanding of ways your body can move.
Vinyasa flow but done in a room heated between 75-85°.
Yoga Strength is an empowering, strong, and energetic practice. The class will blend movements from a variety of training techniques to keep your asana practice challenging and dynamic! Expect an invigorating workout from this style of class.
Vinyasa flow classes will having you moving more than our Mellow Flow or Gentle/Therapeutic classes. This style focuses on connecting the breath to your movements. Vinyasa tends to be a faster pace. You can expect to stay in a constant flow of movements (minus the warm up and cool down) that cultivate endurance, balance, stamina, and strength. Breath awareness and coordination are carried throughout the practice as the asana ebbs and flows between effort and ease.
Mellow Flow classes are a slower, simpler flow designed to open your body, release tension, and explore movement throughout your whole system. This class incorporates breathwork, focus, and flexibility to create a balance between a calm mind and a mobile body. This class will prepare you for the day ahead in a bright way.
This class will give you space to set an intentional tone for your day. Enjoy the benefits of a focused mind, open heart, and awakened body. Hatha yoga is practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching. Expect a mindful asana practice with lengthy holds and emphasis on using breath to enhance each pose's benefits.

Yinyasa yoga is a hybrid class that combines Yin and Vinyasa yoga styles. Yin yoga is a gentle, meditative practice that involves holding poses for several breaths or minutes to release connective tissue. Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic, yang style that involves a flowing sequence of movements accompanied by breath work. Yinyasa classes are slower paced than Vinyasa classes and involve holding poses for longer. The goal of Yinyasa classes is to create a balanced and transformative experience that offers practitioners flexibility, mindfulness, softness, and relaxation.
