Experience the work of Jen Wilder

With a passion for helping individuals cultivate a deeper connection to their bodies and nervous systems, Jen is a dedicated yoga teacher who specializes in trauma-informed practices, self-regulation, and the integration of the Polyvagal Theory.

Certified with 200 hours of training, Jen has gone above and beyond, completing an additional 240 hours of specialized training in trauma-informed yoga. This training allows Jen to create a safe and supportive environment where students can explore their practice, gain self-awareness, and learn how to soothe and regulate their nervous systems, cultivating a sense of internal control rather than relying on external ways to cope.

Inspired by the principles of Polyvagal Theory, Jen believes in the profound healing power of the nervous system and focuses on gentle, mindful techniques that allow students to reset, calm, and reconnect. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, or simply seeking a deeper sense of inner balance, Jen's classes provide tools for sustainable, long-term wellness through yoga.

Join Jen in cultivating a more grounded, resilient, and self-regulated life through the art of yoga.

Gain insights into stress responses while discovering grounding techniques and methods for self-regulation. Explore strategies for managing anxiety, understand the physiological impacts of stress, and learn practical exercises to enhance emotional resilience.

April: Foundations of Nervous System Resilience

Exploring vagal tone, movement, and breath as tools for deeper connection opens the door to a profound understanding of how our bodies and minds are intricately linked. Vagal tone, which refers to the activity of the vagus nerve, plays a crucial role in regulating our nervous system and promoting relaxation and emotional well-being.

May: Moving from Survival to Connection

Cultivating a sustainable resilience practice involves developing habits and strategies that help individuals or communities adapt to and recover from challenges in a way that is both effective and enduring. This practice emphasizes the importance of building mental, emotional, and sometimes physical strength to navigate life's adversities without depleting personal or communal resources. Key components of a sustainable resilience practice include self-awareness, mindfulness, and stress management techniques.
